122.3 - wasn't even trying

Must have been salt or something! I still try to keep my carbs good and low but not Atkins - more South Beach. :) Yesterday I had one of my all time favorite P2 treats - frozen strawberries, lemon juice and a little vanilla stevia and water all whipped up with a hand mixer - sorbet! Of course since I am now in P4 I didn't limit the amount of strawberries and I added a little lime juice. This is soooooo yummy. I had twice what I would have had in P2 so it was a total of 60 calories.

125.8 - eek! Doing a steak day!

I had a wonderful filet mignon and hope that tomorrow I'll be back into the acceptable range (121.4-125.4). I have, however, decided that I don't like being this close to the high end of a healthy BMI (127 pounds), especially when I need to do a steak day. I've done 2 rounds - one 60 days (I went longer than recommended but it worked), and one 45 days. I've never done a short round but I think I could probably shake 8-10 pounds with a 23 day round. If I then needed to do a steak day, I wouldn't be so close to that high end of healthy but smack dab in the middle of healthy and that would be fine with me.

It's funny to be thinking like this. Before it was I wanted to be small again. Now, I want to be healthy and 10 more pounds I'd be in the totally healthy range with room to go either way without worry.

Checking in - had a stressful week but happy to report...

...despite the stress and having two events which I ate spaghetti, bits of dessert, chips and dip and fruit, I weigh exactly what I did at my last dose weight of 123.4. I still log everything I eat and work to stay where I need to calorie wise to maintain. No eating like a crazy person not accountable for anything - just normal calorie amounts but now it appears carbs aren't my enemy any longer. Dr. S., I give you a cross time and space energy hug for saving me.

One thing I've not been good about is the exercise. I only worked out, and only yoga, twice last week. I've been frantically getting ready for the Democratic County conventions in my state. This week will be better. I'm getting back to a good routine. Ideally, I'd like to be working out an hour a day. That means I need to start earlier. I must force myself to do that.

123.6 . Better and an experiement

.2 above LDW. Not bad, but I'd hoped for a bigger loss. That said, I have one more steak left and it has to be eaten. I asked one of my HCG lists about the logic of waiting until dinner for the steak. I'm going to split this steak up into 2-3 portions and spread it out over the day and see what happens.

I just LOVE that there is a way to immediately correct a gain! What a wonderful sense of control!

Good thing about those 4 pounds... 125.2!

I don't "officially" need a steak day but I had them thawing just in case so I may as well given how very close (.3) I am to needing one.

Easter was great, and I learned something about myself - sugar, unless in chocolate form, is just too sweet for me. The eclair made me sick. One bite of cheesecake was enough. It's a little too early for bread with me.

All good things to know. Steak day and lots of water today and tomorrow Mediterranean style eating. Oh, and exercise. That too. Haven't done that in 2 days though I was sooooo sore the last 2 days from the previous exercise, the break wasn't bad. Time to start again though!

121.4! I have 4 pounds to work with today... that said, I'm eating a chocolate eclair! It's SO SWEET. I'm not used to it! I consider that a very good thing. :)

Candie, soooo good to see you!

I had a wonderful dinner with friends last night. The reactions to my transformation absolutely made my millennium! Seeing everyone again was just wonderful.

I was able to give away pile after pile of clothes for my between 16-10 clothes which also felt good. I don't want the option here to get there again.

I am always concerned when eating out that I may gain despite being conscious of my choices. Done good.

121.8. :) Yea!! Saving room for real dessert on Easter and thawing steaks for Monday just in case!

I've made an executive decision.

No more trying to lose weight. I've been trying for years, more than the last 8 when I really needed to lose. I'm sick of it and so is my body and for heaven's sake, I AM A SIZE 6! I'm a small! I look can't-get-the-husband's-hands-off-me HOT! I am getting looks again! I'm healthy!

If I drop down into the teens I'll be thrilled but I am not trying anymore. I'm totally satisfied and my body needs to just be.

That said, I'm 122 today. :)

122.2! Woah! I thought it would be more.

LOTS of sodium. Today I eat as clean as I can and up the fluids.

I have a couple small cavities I have to get fixed this afternoon. No needles though. They apparently are small enough to fix without the old tools that hurt and he uses lasers. I'm nervous though and have broken out in a rash which I cannot tell if it's stress related or due to the antibiotics. *sigh*

had progresso veggie soup and a low carb burger from Carl's Jr. - waaaay high in sodium

I wouldn't be shocked at a gain from water alone but decided that Sundays are MINE. No calorie restrictions or diet restrictions (within reason these first few weeks).

121.6 and P4!

This was pre movement and I was a little on the slow side if you know what I mean. I think I'm stable at about 121 which seriously ROCKS. Because I am no longer trying to remain stable, I told my fitness program that I want to weigh 114 (what I weighed when I got married) by July 14 (I picked that randomly though it is Bastille Day and exactly 100 days from now). It figures to a little over half a pound a week to do that which means a calorie deficit of 263 calories per day. This adjusts if my projected weight does match my actual weigh in. Love this program. Shouldn't be hard to do now that I'll be exercising again (if I can ever get the kids off the fit)!

Feeling good. Of course the sunshine helps. :)

121 pounds and my Wii Fit age is 40!

Not bad. I'm 6 years older than my actual age. Better than my husband (who is tall and thin) who is actually 40 but Wii Fit age has him at 52. I'm so glad we got this thing - he is soooo competitive and really needs the exercise. Competing against the family on this thing will be FUN.

The antibiotics make me a little dizzy so I have to try it before I take them. :)

UTI

Have had symptoms for a week. Finally took a home test and knew something was up. Fortunately it's nothing too serious.

The doc was way concerned about the ketones in my urine until I told him I was doing low carb. I am grateful I am almost in P4 because I need to up the carbs. I'm being too hard on my kidneys. tomorrow I will add my first fruit. Strawberries... oh, heaven! That and more veggies. I think it's time. My body is screaming for balance.

Fluke. :)

My fitness program projected today's weight at 119 but I'm 121.2 - no complaints. This is a good weight for me and I appear to be stabilizing.

Yesterday got nuts so no Wii Fit yet. Today, I get the fit and IF I get my video done for the new software program, I also get to go to the Nordstom Rack!

120.3?! Really? I consumed 1856 calories and LOST 1 pound?? This could be my scale's April Fool on me... will let you know tomorrow. :D

I finished my tax preparation and my reward is a Wii Fit. I drop off my taxes to my CPA today and pick up the Fit this afternoon. Woohoo!

Woot, and P4 on Monday!

I had a tomato and red onion salad last night with blue cheese dressing - wonderful. I've been very cautious about adding in carbs, even the good ones like veggies but my body is craving them now so I think I'll get a little braver about adding in salads now. Cucumbers. I want cucumbers. :)

I have 3 new jeans - one is a 4, one is a 6, and one is an 8. Amazes me how different brands fit so differently. Gotta say, they look gooooooooooooood. :)
