Yesterday (day 1 VLCD), 148.6. Today, 148.2

Not a great loss after my first day of VLCD, however I told myself when I started this that I needed to be prepared for anything, that every round is different, and that there was a round when I didn't lose anything after my first day of the VLCD and it ended up being one of my best rounds.

I was so nervous about starting again, as it's been so long. It's just like riding a bike. So far, so good. Hopefully I won't get too bored. If the weight begins to fly off, I have no problem with boredom.

The weird dreams have started (I forgot about those!). I dreamed I actually was pregnant and people were accusing me of being delusional and paranoid. Fun!

I don't really have much to say. I just wanted to post my progress (or lack thereof). I'm determined to stay relaxed, go with the flow, and ride this round without (much) expectation.

OH, and I'm not going to take Maca this round. I found myself feeling flushed and dizzy at one point, and I think it may have been the maca. It's supposed to help balance hormones, and given I'm taking a pregnancy hormone, that may be counter productive. I'll start it back up after my round.

Off to have some lunch!

XOXOXOX

You are moving in the right direction. Those losses all add up, and before you know it, you've lost a lot! You have the right mindset: relaxed approach and stay the course!

Check your fb pm

hugs.

My last round of hcg went in reverse. I didn't start to see big losses until the end. You are right, every round is different. It seemed with each round the weight was more difficult to lose.

Thanks, LD! I'm not thrilled with the slow losses in the first week, but am thrilled to see the scale going in the direction I want it to for a change!

CM, I hear you! I've not noticed rounds getting more difficult though (at least with maintenance rounds - just different). It will be interesting to see how this one goes given how long it's been!

XOXO
