Liquid smoke ain't my friend. Down .1 pound.

The chicken was DELICIOUS but not worth the lack of loss. I'll hold onto the liquid smoke for when P2 is over.

Going to halibut today which gave me great losses before. :)

What was in the liquid smoke that you suspect resulted in weight issue? It appears there is little in Liquid Smoke to change anything positive or negative. Salt on whetever you ate would or could cause up to a pound of retained water depending on when and how much water-rich 1). water, fruits (90% water), vegetables (75-90%) and fluids (100%) you consumed, and 2). urinated.Remember, 2-litres of water, no matter the source, weighs approx. 4-pounds !!! A GALLON of water weighs a whopping 8.25 POUNDS !!! Any combination of water containing foods + fluids will be converted and retained as water-weight for at least an hour or two, sometimes more depending on sodium eaten in a 6 hour time frame... Water is always the variable in this way. Liquid Smoke is less suspect than sodium AND the Simeon required minimum water consumption of 2+ litres of fluids, or, in weighted terms 4 to 6 pounds of water.
