P3 Day 11 - 116.5 ( -.1 of last dose weight)

Happy 4th, everyone!

Thanks for all the support from  yesterday. I'm still decently freaked out, but much calmer than yesterday. I'm not completely convinced this is related to my surgery, but I'm also calm enough to know that no matter what it is, I'll get answers soon and whatever I need to do I'll do. I've not heard back from my doctor - I suspect he may be out of town for the holiday.

We went to a party yesterday (in Utah, they celebrate the 4th on the 3rd if the 4th falls on a Sunday. I find this completely bizarre!). I had 2 hamburger patties, sliced tomatoes, ketchup, mustard, sliced cheese, wine, and a couple tequila shots (THAT was a mistake!). Since I have no idea what I weighed yesterday, I couldn't report a loss or gain today, but needless to say I am thrilled to be so close to my LDW.

Have a wonderful holiday. I'm appreciating Independence Day today in many ways. :)

You're doing excellent with the stabilization. I hope everything turns out okay. It's on both sides and not just one so that's a good sign. I'm going for a consultation in the fall for my stomach and maybe a breast augmentation. I want to lose more weight first to see if my stomach will get better. There's the possibility that the panniculectomy
will be covered by provincial health insurance (we have universal health care in Canada). But anyways, let us know what your doctor says and sending good thoughts your way.

Thanks Kathryn! I feel something kind of similar, but not the same on the other side - certainly not as pronounced - but I did have a problem with a stitch on my right side and am HOPING it's related to that.

I'll be anxious to hear about your consultation later this year! Gotta love universal health care! I wish Americans weren't so afraid of it!

ya know what I'm thinking may be going on? Not that you asked, but here it is: After my surgery, it was a good YEAR before all the swelling went away. I'm thinking that maybe this is a result of some swelling? Maybe something is swollen causing the depression, OR something that WAS swollen is now not swollen, causing the depression. It could be....

Congratulations on stabilizing SO well that even 2 shots of tequila & a wine won't budge that needle on the scale! You're doing great!

I'll bet you hear from your Dr. tomorrow, and if you haven't heard from him by the early afternoon, get on the phone, and start calling!!

I'm with you- I wish Americans weren't so afraid of universal health care. Big pharma has paid lobbyists to scare people with thoughts of 'socialized' medicine. aarrghhh. It drives me to distraction that most people who have Medicare are pretty happy with that system. That's what it is people!

love you-
