Day 17 LM - 116 (-.3 , -.7 of LDW)

This will be brief as I'm on the road!

LD, I bought all 3 books on CD you suggested, as well as President Obama's "Audacity to Hope" which I'm listening to now and am quite enjoying. I'll start the others tomorrow! Lis, I didn't see your suggestion until it was too late! I'll check it out though for next time. Thanks! :)

I've not heard back from the PA since our meeting. She asked what I wanted for compensation and I fear I may have asked for more than she is comfortable with. I'll let her know I'm flexible. I had spoken with my Life Coach friend and asked for what she suggested I ask.

It's been a long day. I'm glad to be stopped (at a GREAT hotel, by the way! Same price as what I normally pay and 10 times nicer, with WiFi!).

Anyway, I'll see if I can catch up with y'all before I fall asleep.

Always better to ask for too much as you can come down. I'm sure you made such a good impression that she will get back to you, and either agree to what you asked, or at least make you an offer, as to what she is willing to pay. You can negotiate from there. You have what she needs. Simple as that!

So glad you got the books! I'm sure you've read the covers and understand that they are a trilogy, starting with The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I don't know if you have your kids with you in the car, but there are parts that are perhaps, best for adults only. I'm hooked on the trilogy myself! I don't know if you get Netflix, but they have the Swedish movie version of Dragon Tattoo on streaming version. I've watched it twice already! I've heard that they're going to make a Hollywood version, which can't possibly be as good as the Swedish one-- it was awesome! The gal who plays Lisbeth Salander is amazing!!

Looks like travel agrees with you and the scale- you're definitely stabilized!

Enjoy your family & your getaway-- love you!

ps. Mr ld and I went to see the just-released film version of The Girl Who Played With Fire (#2 in the trilogy) at the movie theater last weekend-- again, just wonderfully done. Its the 2nd Swedish movie in the trilogy.

Thanks LD! I truly hope I hear from her. I was very impressed with her and her program!

I do have the kids with me and warned them that they HAD to watch their DVDs with their headphones on while I listen!!

Thanks again! Love ya!
