My in-laws are gone and I'm totally off pain medication

Hi all,

Yesterday was my husband's birthday. My natural father and his wife visited and we had a little celebration for my husband. Because my in-laws were leaving today, we went ahead and did our Christmas with them yesterday as well. Since they wouldn't be here for my birthday next month, I went ahead and opened my birthday presents with them as well. I got the new expansion pack for the Sims 3 and a gift certificate for Victoria's Secret for $75! PERFECT! I'll be ready in a couple weeks to go bra shopping again! :D

I had no plans to be careful yesterday food wise. I ate cookies, caramel corn, drank wine, etc. - I feel bloated and icky today and am doing a steak day. I have NO idea if I need to or not. Once I'm totally unwrapped and these drains are out, I'll weigh myself. I am very nervous about it, I must admit. I keep telling myself that if I HAD to do another round, I could. I just really, really, REALLY don't want to have to. I want to get on that scale and see maybe only a slight increase due to the new additions...if that. We shall see, we shall see.

I'm going to attempt to get undressed and shower on my own this morning. My husband is at work and I'm home with the kids. Thank goodness they "get" that I'm not 100% and are being really good.

OKAY, well, Happy Holidays all y'all! Hugs and kisses!

I love following your account of the tummy tuck/breast implants. i have been wanting to get both those done for sometime, but my hubby and I made an agreement that if I lose the extra weight I can get it done. I lost 22 lbs on Round 1 of hcg and am starting round 2 Jan 10. I'll need to do a 3rd (and hopefully final) round in May and I hope to get down to 140 lbs--which is the agreement weight to get the surgeries. Anyway, thanks for talking about your surgeries and for walking us all through your steps on hcg. you are truly an inspiration!!! I love your blog!!! :-)
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Thanks so much Meg!! It means a LOT to me that this is useful information to someone!! :) I plan on also listing all the supplements I'm taking as I'm convinced they're helping a lot with the healing.

So far so good - when you're ready, let me know if you want my doctor's contact info! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Wow! You are amazing! To be totally off of pain meds at this point is incredible! You are doing VERY well. Whatever you are taking as a supplement is definitely working!

Don't even worry about the scale. What you're doing right now for yourself, is so much more important than whatever that number will be. Just keep healing, and whenever you are able to address your weight, you will. It will probably not be very different from what you were before the surgery. And even if it is, you can deal with it. You have all the tools within you to do that.

What fun to think you can go to Victoria's Secret and get a whole new bra wardrobe! that was a great gift!

How did it work getting yourself up and atom this morning? Were you able to bathe and dress yourself?

LD - YEA!! It's good to know I'm doing well since I've never done this before!!

Tomorrow the drains come out. I'm going to my appointment with 1000 tylenol and 1 xanax. :D

I didn't totally shower. I forgot that once I'm out of my clothes, getting back in is a bitch so I did a sponge bath and washed my hair.

I can't believe how well I'm doing! EXTRA vitamin C and a slew of other supplements!!

It's great to read you are doing so good. A gift card for Vicki Secret is the best! Enjoy spending it!
